The Digital Media team in Rice University’s Public Affairs Office has one full time professional photographer on staff. While the photographer handles the general needs of the university on a daily basis (Rice News, Rice Magazine, etc.), he is available to schools and departments for photo assignments. Those services are provided based on availability.
When you send a request, you will be contacted to discuss the assignment and to schedule an appointment. Projects will be accepted based on the event, availability and approval of estimated costs. If the event cannot be handled by the Rice photographers, they can assist with student or freelance photographer recommendations.
Headshots
Headshot sessions are available weekly.
Headshots are taken between the Welcome Center and the Sallyport - right next to the William Marsh Rice statue.
